The mission of Workforce Solutions, with oversight from the Local Workforce Investment Board, is to provide a comprehensive network of career employment, training, educational, and support services for the region’s employers, employees, and job seekers.  To further the mission of Workforce Solutions, is the development of numerous on-the-job training contracts with local industry throughout the region.  The training contracts results have been employment opportunities for the unemployed and under employed.  The results of these individuals becoming employed is reflected in the success Workforce Solutions has enjoyed in meeting employment goals and performance measures. 

Workforce Solutions will provide services to employers and job seekers in the seven county Local Area Six.  These counties include, Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, Moore, and Warren.  Services available to local employers include, but are not limited to, recruitment, accepting and screening applications, testing, assessments, direct referrals, on-the-job training contracts, and labor market information.
